Or, just change the script to reflect the full path to "checkproc".

Then it'll work under any circumstances.

Look like the user that this is run under is missing something in the path,
or doesn't have permission to start those services. Try running it under
roots cron or adjust the rights for that user.

Hello fellow hackers, 

Can anyone shed any light on this cron mail?? If I run this script from the
prompt - not a single error in sight - schedule it as a cron job and BOOM -
service don't shut down properly followed by services not starting up again
- the system is more or less dead for the users. Root has to start
everything back up. 

Any help/suggestion would be HUGELY appreciated.
