Hi Guys,
Im having a few problems with vsftpd - users can login ok (no anon access) and start in their home directory. How do I get them to start in another directory. i.e. when they log in, i want them to go to /fileserv not /home/username

I have turned off chroot so they already have access to the files.
TIA
Jeff

There are several ways to do this, but perhaps the most direct is via "Local_root", which will try to cd to the listed directory after local login.
