Problem with sendmail: unsafe map file /etc/aliases.db:Permission denied

I've recently updated my sendmail and often I receive a mail from LogWatch
advising me about a error with sendmail and the error is:
SYSERR( root ) hash map "Alias0":unsafe map file /etc/aliases.db: Permission
denied: 2 Time(s).
I've remember that in the update I commented a line of sendmail.cf:
"AutoRebuild /etc/aliasses" because the new version of sendmail doesn't
support this option.
The version of sendmail is 8.12.8 and the old one was the 8.11.
Thanks.
