Latest Xfree86 RPMS broke mouse cursors

I just upgraded to the latest XFree86 RPMS for redhat 9 (https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2003-288.html)
and it broke my custom KDE mouse cursors, re-uglified all my fonts, and made my nice icons look like crap.

Did the directory X11 looks for custom mouse cursors get changed? My icons now look like ugly aliased fonts, why would that happen?

I'm running KDE on Redhat 9. All RPMS's up2date.

Mouse theme = http://kdelook.org/content/show.php?content=6240
Icons = http://kdelook.org/content/show.php?content=3883
