Any one have any experince/pointers with this?

I keep running into errors in the make:
>From the make.log
/home/oracle/product/8.1.7/bin/genclntsh
ld: unrecognised emulation mode: elf_i386_glibc21
Supported emulations: elf_i386 i386linux
genclntst: error: could not locate /home/oracle/product/8.1.7/lib/clntsh.map
please generate the client shared library first
/home/oracle/product/8.1.7/bin/genagtsh
/home/oracle/product/8.1.7/lib/libagtsh.so 1.0
ld: unrecognised emulation mode: elf_i386_glibc21
Supported emulations: elf_i386 i386linux

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lclntsh

I have the compat- packages installed.

The i386-glibc21-linux-env.sh should alleviate this but its not.
