You should look at using the "MASQUERADE_AS" directive in your sendmail.mc
file.  There are also the "allmasquerade" feature and the "EXPOSED_USER"
directive that can be used in conjuction with this.  Take a look at
Chapter 4 in the sendmail book from O'Reilly (the bat book).
