Sorry? Are you saying that in 3.x.x they have turned up the warning levels? I'm worried I might have wrecked the system at the moment :o|

Subject: Where can I obtain the gcc 2.96 RPM, src, or similar?

Hi all,

I've managed to mess up my gcc on my box by trying to install gcc-3.3.2 on it. I now wish to revert back to the old gcc 2.96 which appears to be a strange one. 2.96 was not released by GNU and therefore I was wondering if it is available anywhere? Also, can I do anything to fix the gcc in the meantime. 3.3.2 keeps giving me lots of cross compilation warnings and is behaving strangely.

Any ideas??

Thanks,

Stuart Stephen
