Hi,

I am looking for programs similar to gftp that will allow me to transfer
files from my Windows & Mac machines to a Linux server via SSH.

All this assumes you have Mac OS X.2 or later (aka Jaguar or Panther):

If you have mac os x, then you already have OpenSSH installed. Look for /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app and fire that baby up. ssh, scp, and sftp, the commands you know and love, are all there waiting. If you can't handle the terminal, go to http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/internet_utilities/transmit.html and check this gui app out. Oh yeah, here's the obligatory STFW comment...

ps open /Applications/System Preferences, go to the Sharing Pane and check the box that says Remote Login. You've just started the ssh daemon (sshd). You may now ssh/sftp/scp to your Mac box... Apple has even placed the command you should use to access the box at the bottom of this pane.
