RE: Cannot start X

To get back in using X, you can use: CTRL Alt F2.  this will get you to
a text
Login.  Then do:  mv /etc/X11/XF86Config /etc/X11/XF86Config-old
Then run redhat-config-xfree86.   This will recreate a new
/etc/X11/XF86Config file.
Then you should be able to reboot and X will start up fine.
However; if you have any system specific X configurations, you may need
to pull
Them from the XF86Config-old file you created.

/etc/inittab already add this in the file (this was not something I
changed) i.e. problem not fixed.
