I once had a colleague describe the purpose of QA as: "to minimize
maximum embarrassment".  It is not to find all the bugs and fix them.
Instead: What are the worst, most embarrassing, data destroying,
customer crashing bugs?  OK, let's see if we can fix ~most~ of them.


-kb, the Kent how is sad at how crappy most commercial is, and
heartened to see how excellent some open source software can be.
