Hi I have RH9 and looking in to dmesg and /var/log/messages i found a lot of erro messages repeated dmesg hdd: ATAPI 40X CD-ROM drive, 128kB Cache, DMA Device not ready. Make sure there is a disc in the drive. /var/log/messages kernel: Device not ready.
