I, for one, really appreciate the tone of this list. The mplayer list is the rudest one I currently subscribe to. I guess that is simply due to their unwillingness to work with anyone that has not read all the docs :)

Yeah, out of all the lists I subscribe too, this one along with the php-general and mysql list are the calmest ones. It's kind of suprising considering the amount of newbies posting to those lists.
