The list added people, including myself, yesterday without auth.
When you send the command at the bottom of posts it doesn't 
work.  A reply from list request says there is a problem 
with the syntax and suggests using:

 ***** unsubscribe

I think, while posts to the list are irritating, list mismanagement
is even more so.
