I am working on setting up a couple of 2003 server with my RH netword. The 2003 servers keep looking for .srv records. Any one got any experience with this ?
Microsoft-specific stuff... can't tell you much more than that, but it's one way MS DNS keeps track of other info. As with most MS-specific stuff, you'll have to find specific explanations for it.
The lack of those SRV records in your Linux-based DNS does not mean anything bad, though... nothing is missing or broken in any way if that was your concern.
