Yes it's true that virii and worms are more rare on linux platform, and it's usually an exploit in an associated program (ie... openssl, apache...) Linux will be targeted more and more now that it's user base is expanding. Is Linux more secure, probably. It's depends if the user is a root whore. That doesn't take into account exploits in running services. We're using spamassassin, exim, clamav, and amavis to check incoming mail.
