Re: General Linux ListServ

It never ceases to amaze me that those who are so very knowledgeable, once
were as ignorant as a newborn baby when it comes to computers, linux, etc.
Those "arrogant" people act as if they were BORN with their knowledge, but
they weren't. They had to learn it by asking questions just like everyone
else. I'm NO expert, far from it, but I have learned lots thru the proper
way of training, by lists such as this, and by the good graces of others who
were not arrogant, and willing to share their knowledge. If possible, I
will share what I know with ANYONE who asks for it. I have no use for
arrogant people who were once as ignorant as anyone else. There are many
helpful people here, and I'm thankful for that. As a whole, the linux
movement was about a group of people getting together to share knowledge,
and if it weren't for that, open source would be a failure.

Those who feel themselves "superior" here, and feel themselves above others,
can flame to their hearts content. Pay them no attention. They don't
embrace the "Open Source" idea, most likely won't share what they know, and
you will find others who don't have that mindset more than willing to assist
when possible.
