We're currently backing up partitions using ddrescue.

We noticed this line in the output of mdadm --examine /dev/sdd2

Recovery Offset : 18446744073709551615 sectors

We may try using --force on the array after backing everything up, but I
suspect that we may have to restore from our backup server.
