Hard to know. The code looks like it need some sort of 'wake-up' in there, but I can't be certain without carefully examining the code - or with positive test results. On reflection, while the code might be buggy, I doubt the bug is affecting you. It really does look like some request sent to a lower level device is never getting a reply. Weird. NeilBrown
