It finally made it, mdadm 4.1 has been tagged and pushed to git! I have
attached the ANNOUNCE file below.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this release!

Thank you for the release.

Subject: ANNOUNCE: mdadm 4.1 - A tool for managing md Soft RAID under Linux

I am pleased to announce the availability of
    mdadm version 4.1

It is available at the usual places:
    http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/raid/mdadm/

Unfortunately it’s not available on the mirrors yet.

Location: https://mirrors.edge.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/raid/mdadm/mdadm-4.1.tar.xz [following] --2018-10-01 22:39:37-- https://mirrors.edge.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/raid/mdadm/mdadm-4.1.tar.xz Resolving mirrors.edge.kernel.org... 147.75.101.1, 2604:1380:2001:3900::1

Also, could you please update the template to use HTTPS URLs?

and via git at
    git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/utils/mdadm/mdadm.git
    http://git.kernel.org/cgit/utils/mdadm/

Here too. That’d be great.

The update constitutes more than one year of enhancements and bug fixes
including for IMSM RAID, Partial Parity Log, clustered RAID support,
improved testing, and gcc-8 support.

Thank you everyone.

Kind regards,

Paul
