Sandisk USA derived me to Sandisk EU. From there to Sandisk Spain (where I am). I Sandisk Spain they know nothing about that product. They redirected me to WD. I can't contact WD because they need a part number but they do not accept the SMARTMOD disk s one.
Crazy.
There is near 0 info about SMARTMOD in the net.

I would definitely contact Sandisk (now owns Smart Systems products) to ensure you have up to date firmware. I know there have been issues with command set support and other issues with SAS and SATA converted to SAS SSDs. I've been through three bugfix related firmware updates to SanDIsk Lightning SAS SSDs so best to contact them and get latest firmware update.
