Neil, Thanks for all your hard work. I had a disk fail over the weekend and the hot-spare just dropped into place nicely, without any fuss or muss. Performance suffered for a while, but that's ok. All your hard work on MD has just made things pretty painless. Now to upgrade to a pair of mirrored 2Tb drives with another hot spare, then some re-shuffling of data.
