regression: hung boot upgrading to 2.6.34.1 from 2.6.32.11

 Hi,

I just upgraded my kernel from 2.6.32.11 to 2.6.34.1   There were some kconfig changes, but i left most stuff to the default values.
I'm willing to try any patches or ideas anyone has.     It looks like two  md kthreads are stuck calling  _raw_spin_unlock_irqrestore,

I can still boot 2.6.32.11


I'll start compiling a git bisect to see if i can find the commit.
