Well, I just ordered this:

Akasa PaxPower 460W PSU (4hdd + gfx card + Athlon3000 so this should be
fine) on next day delivery - so if my disk problems go away I'll be sure
to tell ...

...and if they don't then I'll want some answers!!!!   ;)
