Perc 4e/DI on Poweredge 2850/LSI Logic MegaRaid SCSI 320-2x with Fedora Core 3

I'm getting the error messages on startup: "Asking For Cache Data Failed" "assuming drive cache: write through"

I'm told this is bad. Dell does not provide drivers that I've been able to compile:
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/format.aspx?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd&SystemID=PWE_PNT_P3C_2850&os=LE30&osl=en&deviceid=6395&devlib=35&category=35&releaseid=R79751

I haven't figured out how to compile this for fedora core 3 yet:
http://www.lsilogic.com/files/support/rsa/Linux_2.10.8.2-1.zip

or this:
ftp://ftp.lsil.com/pub/linux-megaraid/drivers/version-2.20.3.1

Which one is correct for Fedora Core 3? has anybody done it?

Thanks
Dave
