Hi list, I have a question if Linux SW RAID stack can detect the presence of a new disk (say new SCSI disk attached to the system in runtime) automatically ? If it can detect, how it does so ? Does a RAID daemon always scans SCSI subsystem and for new disks attached ? (seems fantasy ?) Regards, Rabeeh -- This message may contain confidential, proprietary or legally privileged information.
