 Yes, it's a known issue. raid5 has been broken since the
 early bio changes and hasn't been touched since.

 Instead of answering these questions every other day, I've
 munged a copy of Ted T'so's 2.4 TODO list, and with Alans help,
 removed the items that were done, and added the various 2.5
 bits that I had in my head at the time.

 I was going to wait a few more days to flesh this out a bit
 more, but I figure this is as good a time as any..
