Well I guess upstream can move on while older versions do still support BlueZ 4, besides we are talking several years of the last release of BlueZ, about 5 years to be precise http://www.bluez.org/bluez-4101/, so it is not that we didn't give any time for the switch to happen and at some point we do intend to move to BlueZ 6 once that is released. -- Luiz Augusto von Dentz
