module-mmkbd-evdev/module-lirc: unit of volume_limit/volume_step?

Hi,

the documentation at 
http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/PulseAudio/Documentation/User/Modules/#index33h3 
does not provide any information about the unit of the 
volume_limit/volume_step parameters.

volume_limit=100 volume_step=10 does not seem to work. Which units have 
to be used?
