Never mind, I filed the bug myself:

I also made it a 6.0 blocker, because if it's not fixed before 6.0, then
Glenn will probably document it in a man page, and I think it's a bit
silly to document bugs in man pages when they aren't really all that
hard to fix. I'll fix the bug by 6.0 if nobody else writes a patch first
(I don't have time to work on that right now).
