PACMD set volume increasing front mic boost

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi.

In am application I am building, I need to control the volume of source and
sink, and hence I use, pacmd set-source-volume #{source} #{level} and
similar for sink as well.

Now when I increase the volume of my onboard mic, the volume increases the
front mic boost as well. The front mic boost has only 3 values, 22, 53 and
100. And for higher volumes, the mic boost is 100, which distorts the voice.

Is there a way to restrict the Mic boost to remain at 53 or below in all
cases.?
