[PATCH] Improve "well known descriptions" for ports

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

'Twas brillig, and David Henningsson at 11/01/12 14:40 did gyre and gimble:
> * If we don't have "Digital Speakers", we should say "Speakers"
> instead of "Analog Speakers", and similar for other ports.
> * Change "IEC958" to "S/PDIF" (more well known name)
> * Add new ports and mappings for HDMI
> * Change "Internal" to "Built-in" for the card name

In my tree now with a tiny (almost bikesheddy) change discussed on IRC.

I will push this later after I've had a chance to do some sedding on the
i18n files such that this change will only apply to English for now
until translations are updated so as to avoid a half-xlated experience
for users.
