Can you redo the log with LC_ALL=C exported so that the errors and debug
are in English? That will help me work things out. Also pass four v's
for the most verbose debug - e.g. -vvvv

It smells like some kind of ALSA bug because the h/w params cannot be
set, but perhaps we shouldn't care about that and continue anyway - not
really sure, but hopefully someone more clued up on the lower level ALSA
stuff can comment on that...
