Need help to reduce delay with USB mic using pulseaudio

Hi,

          I have succesfully installed pulseaudio
(version:0.98-438-g6add-dirty)  in OMAP4 panda board and is working fine
with normal mono mic.
          But when I use USB mic, I am getting delay of around 3-4 sec.
          Can anybody help me how to reduce the delay.
