He's trying to clean up Wine's audio act, in particular, he's looking at why some games have nasty buzzing when run with pulseaudio ( http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19370 ) Also, do you know of a good automated audio latency test tool? I am collecting a few at http://wiki.winehq.org/MeasuringAudioLatency but I don't see any for pulseaudio there. (Actually I'd like to create a unified audio latency test tool that requires the user to plug in an audio loopback cable, and then runs latency tests via all available audio APIs, both under ideal conditions and under any typical stressful conditions encountered by e.g. wine apps.) - Dan
