Forwarding for attention of interested pulseaudio devs. The mythtv project is having a lot of ups and downs with respect to synchronization under pulseaudio, to the point of mythtv bailing out and exiting if it sees a pulseaudio server that it might interfere with, which is obviously non-ideal. It would be great to see some cooperation on this front. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: MythTV <mythtv@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, Nov 3, 2009 at 13:59 Subject: Re: Ticket #5473: audio out, PulseAudio To: mythtv-commits at mythtv.org #5473: audio out, PulseAudio ---------------------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: Alan Calvert <cal@?> | Owner: jyavenard Type: patch | Status: closed Priority: minor | Milestone: unknown Component: MythTV - Audio Output | Version: head Severity: medium | Resolution: fixed Mlocked: 0 | ---------------------------------------------+------------------------------ Comment(by Adolfo R. Brandes): Update: I got it to output sound using PulseAudio:default (fiddled with system configuration, not sure what made it work), but somewhat intermitently. The sync really is not ideal, as advertised. -- Ticket URL: <http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/5473#comment:32> MythTV <http://www.mythtv.org/> MythTV -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
