I see now errors here. Maybe PA is playing on the wrong device by
default? Use pavucontrol to move playback streams to the right device.

As a side note: SBLive cards are not well supported on Linux. Creative
is very unfriendly to open source, and does not supply documentation
for its devices. Because PA depends on correct timing data from the
devices and the SBLive driver does not support those properly you
might not have much fun with that device.
