Hello list, I am a blind linux user using the orca screen reader. In the recent release of ubuntu and the current betta of fedora along with many other distro's are not implamenting pulse audio correctly. In order for the orca screent reader to work properly I have to remove pulse audio. I can do this because my wife can help with this process but other blind users do not have this option of sighted help. I would like to be able to use pulse audio and not remove it so I am writing to see if someone could please write some documentation on how to properly configure pulse audio to work with the orca screen reader. I would greatly appreciate this and I am sure the other blind linux users would also. Oh just so you know what the problems are with orca and pulse on ubuntu when you first start orca it talks so fast by default you can not even understand it. But when you remove pulse orca speaks fine and it is understandable. in other distro's when you start orca it will not have any sound at all. But if you remove pulse audio then you can hear the sound of orca. Thankyou for your help and time.Jonathan
