Well I got very mixed results with this revert. It did seem to help me use skype and this is where my bisect ended up. I've not pushed this revert into our official packages yet (it was in cooker for a while but no-one said it helped so I've now dropped it. I did a little more testing with skype and managed to make three test calls in a row without any problem, so I've asked people on the above linked mandriva bug to test the latest version with these 27 patches to see if it helps in practical usage of skype (my testing is perhaps a little contrived!). On the positive front, one of the Skype linux devs has tried to contact me after I made some comments on their forums about being vaguely involved with pulse dev and wanting to help advise them on the best implementation. Sadly he tried to contact me via skype so I've only just seen it. Perhaps their next version will be all singing and dancing :) Col -- Colin Guthrie gmane(at)colin.guthr.ie http://colin.guthr.ie/ Day Job: Tribalogic Limited [http://www.tribalogic.net/] Open Source: Mandriva Linux Contributor [http://www.mandriva.com/] PulseAudio Hacker [http://www.pulseaudio.org/] Trac Hacker [http://trac.edgewall.org/]
