Still getting the jack library error with Ubuntu 8.04. "exit status: 3584" jack library (dlopen/disym error on libjack.so :~$ ls -l /usr/lib/libjack* lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 2009-04-07 23:05 /usr/lib/libjack0.100.0 -> jack lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 12 2009-04-07 23:05 /usr/lib/libjack-0.100.0.so.0 -> libjack.so.0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 2009-04-07 23:05 /usr/lib/libjack.so.0 -> libjack.so.0.0.28 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 68408 2008-02-02 02:52 /usr/lib/libjack.so.0.0.28 I typed keywords, ubuntu jack library error with recordMyDesktop, and followed a couple very good threads. Need some troubleshooting suggestions, or suggestion for alternate capture app. When I run Jack control, I can add vkeybd and Jack sees it. When I run recordMyDesktop, Jack doesn't see it. Tom Tom
