I think that's an inherent trait for many Linux users. At my last job I
was well known for always coming up with fantastic solutions... and then
trying to find problems to apply them to. :)

And to be honest, when I first started using PA it was kind of on a
whim. I had heard the name, and as I was currently using ESD and it was
touted as a drop-in replacement I thought, let's try it. I'll see if I
like it and then decide whether to go back to ESD or not. Needless to
say, I never went back. :) And it was only a few weeks AFTER I started
using it that I realized all of the cool things that I could do with it.
