I do agree that it would be helpful to have some sort of search box on the web site. However, Google does not guarantee accurate search results for a particular site. I see the mailing list uses some "mailman version 2.1.9", maybe that software comes with some built-in search function. I see that GNU uses Namazu (at least for the emacs mailing lists). I did know the Google "site:" trick, but I forgot the "s" at the end of the "https". Some hint like this would be useful: "You can search the archives with your favourite search engine, all pages fall under https://blahblah", with the "s" in the "https" underlined or in bold or something. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
