Could you please retry this with passing "-vv" to pulseaudio? This will
give you a lot of debug output of what's actually happening.

Also, why did you load that spawnfd stuff? This is only needed when
esound autospawn emulation is done, and most likely fd 24 is not valid
if you call it this way from the command line which might be the cause
of your problem.
