can't get pulseaudio-esound-compat to work

Thanks for the quick answer, I rebooted quite a few times and 'ps -e | grep
esd' does show anything..

Package Esdsound conflicts with pulseaudio-esound-compat, so that it is
impossible that you have both installed on your system.
