If I configure Wine to use Alsa, I got no sound (it seems that Wine goes directly to hw), if I use ESD, there is glitch after glitch, OSS with padsp mostly works but... ...but I have problem with games that use Steam (http://www.steampowered.com). Steam is a gaming platform. You first launch Steam, then, using Steam you launch the game you want to play. Unfortunately, any game I try with Steam (and padsp) just hangs on startup... All other Wine apps works ok. For anyone that is willing to help to fix this problem, I can offer a gift of two games through Steam (for debugging the problem, that is ;)) : Half Life 2 and Half Life 2: Episode One.
