-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, Firstly I would like to congratulate the team of PulseAudio for this wonderful work. I would like to discuss a scenario that has has puzzled me for the last few days: I have setup Linux Terminal Server on Ubuntu(Feisty) and deployed thin-clients with AC'97 sound cards with PulseAudio installed and setup both on the server as well as on the lts-client-image as per the "Perfect setup" instructions. Thereafter I have configured default.pa, client.conf, daemon.conf and ~/.asoundrc for both the server and the lts-clients. Independently pulseaudio runs successfully on both the sides. - From the server, I am also able to connect to the lts-client PulseAudio instance and redirect sound from the server to the thin-clients but the opposite connection does not happen and nor do the logs or stderr throw up anything. There is nothing different in the settings at both ends except the respective ip addresses. There is no intervening firewall that may block any port. The ultimate aim is to execute a soft-phone such as Ekiga and get two way audio working between several soft-phones from lts-clients running off the terminal server. Has anyone experienced any positive results with Ekiga + PulseAudio or any other softphone? Any help or suggestions in this respect shall be most appreciated. Please do let me know if I can furnish any information to provide further clarity. Thanks, SB -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFGzlLmwqjb3kq05PgRAkYFAJ4wes9SVCjHWMNkkCPkSS/bP6zKRwCfcMyu 2rPzc24dkSzXoI607fmMdn0= =iDhx -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
