can't get pulseaudio-esound-compat to work

I have no idea.  I don't know when libesd stopped looking for
'/tmp/.esd/' in favour of these other locations.

I suppose the solution could be to have a different default.pa file
per-user in that case.

However, the real solution would be for the pulseaudio esound plugin
to do whatever magic libesd does so we don't have to hard-code this
in our defaults.pa file.
