Ok. I've merged (1) pdx86/fixes into my review-hans branch now and pushed out the result. Please base v3 on top of the latest review-hans state. 1) It is prefered to avoid a single patch getting 2 commit ids which cherry-picking does, that is why I chose to do a back-merge here.
