Thanks! I have three news, one bad and two good:
1) (good) I'm quite sure the above link will fix your boot issues on v5.19-rc5;
2) (good) The last change with error code fixes serial multi-instantiate driver
to probe the codecs, but...
3) (bad) something else is still wrong (or missing).
