This driver provides support for the number of Mellanox systems (switches), based on I7, Celeron, ATOM processors and equipped with Mellanox ASICs for Eth 100G/50G/40G/25G support. It configures relevant PCI ranges and create basic infrastructure for switch. If the location in arch/x86/platform is not correct for such code, maybe you could suggest another appropriate location?
