And on top of that we have IOSF mailbox implementation. So, the main questions are: - Does any of above correlate with what you are doing in this driver? - Is PUnit accessible via IOSF mailbox? - Would it be generic driver for many Intel platforms or only for few? Also the name of the module is intel_punit_ipc which is somehow used in intel_pmc_ipc.c. Matt, by the way intel_pmc_ipc.c module creates iTCO device (LPC bus).
